Multifunctional area and Rotunda respirium
Equipment of Respirium
The multifunctional space and Rotunda respirium offers a relaxation facility for MFF computer science students. It includes a publicly accessible laboratory with:
- 24 dual boot computers (installation of OS Windows, OS Unix)
- 26 places for working with a laptop, monitor connection available
- multifunctional device Bizhub C258 for printing, copying and scanning
- kitchen for heating food, making tea and coffee, washing dishes.
Opening hours
- Access to the laboratory is possible only in the presence of a service administrator or teacher.
- Opening hours of the Rotunda respirium are valid on teaching days. Outside working hours, the service administrator allows students to enter the building through the side entrance. The same restrictions apply for leaving the laboratory.
- On weekends, the laboratory is open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- During the holidays, the laboratory's opening hours are according to the current holiday schedule.
Operating rules
Users are required to comply with the Dean's directive 4/08 and the Supplement for labs of the School of Computer Science.

Login to PC
- Employees and students will use their CAS UK (SIS) login data on Windows or Linux opera.
- Enter "username" in the form "novakj" (pattern), do not use a numeric code in SIS or a name in the form "username@cuni.cz".
- Existing users who already have an MS account may log in in either way: they may use a username and password from MS, or a username and password from CAS.
- Account for students from other faculties of the Charles University.
